Meet Annie, Our “Pup-lick” Relations Director
Annie was planned well in advance of her birth. In fact, I woke up one morning and told my husband, “I have named my puppy…her name will be Annie.” He told me he didn’t think he liked that name and I told him, “Well, you’ve got plenty of time to get used to it.” She was born four years later on January 7, 2003. Her parents are show dogs and she’s a beauty queen who loves to roll in gross stuff, who thinks every gift is for her, who rules our home and hearts. She is bright, funny, willful and demanding. We can’t imagine life without her.
From her first day home with us she has traveled daily to work and immediately assumed the role of “Pup-lick” Relations Director in our company. She has her own office and pretty much rules our company as she rules our home. Our customers stop by to see her often. Not only does she work hard at the office, she is my best friend and therapist, as well as my personal trainer. She's a great therapist and friend, however not very effective as a personal trainer. After all, she’s a golden who is motivated more by food than exercise.
Our African Grey Parrot, Zazu, was the main reason our company started doing pet art. Zazu died tragically the same month that Annie was born and her loss left a huge hole in our lives. Because our company worked with artists from all over the country, I hired one of my favorite wildlife artists to paint a watercolor of her. This painting hangs in our home and reminds us daily of our love for her and what she taught us. We have enjoyed that painting now for four years, and we wanted to offer beautiful art portraits to other pet owners without the cost of hiring an artist.
Pete and I understand the special bond between you and your companions, that one-of-a-kind relationship worthy of capturing as art on canvas for eternity, and we look forward to working with you.
