Ordering Process

01

Select Your Featured Pet

Decide on the pet you would like featured in your portrait. It can be your furry friend, a family members, or a friends. Pet portraits make great gifts, and they are also a wonderful way to remember and honor a pet that has passed.

Once you are ready to order – begin filling out our order form!

02

Pick a Portrait Size

We offer 3 sizes for mixed-media portraits, and 4 sizes for acrylic paintings. They range from 5×7″ up to 11×14″. If you would like a larger size, please send an email request.

03

Submit Photographs and Order Form

Attach one, or as many images as you would like. Any image will work, but I believe the best portraits come from a photograph taken of the full face at eye level.

The eyes really capture the pets personality!

Once you’ve finished filling out our order form, the painting can begin.

04

Illustration Begins

Our process starts with a graphite sketch to map out the pets prominent features. Next, watercolors are used and layered to build depth and range. Following the color addition, ink is used to add detail and define lines. Finally, acrylic paint is used to accentuate highlights.

05

Approve Final Painting

You will be sent an image of the portrait, you can either approve it for shipment, or request minor alterations.

06

Receive Your Portrait in the Mail

You will receive your painting in the mail approximately 2-4 weeks after ordering it! You can purchase a frame at any craft store – we selected our paper sizes to make this process easy for you!
